By using Bravo Claims (bravoclaims.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Bravo Claims Is

Bravo Claims is a free educational resource available as both a website and a mobile app for iOS. We provide:

  • Searchable database of VA diagnostic codes
  • VA disability rating calculator
  • AI-powered chat for general VA questions
  • Educational resources for veterans
  • Newsletter with updates on new features and VA policy changes

All tools are provided free of charge with no signup required.

What Bravo Claims Is NOT

Bravo Claims does NOT:

  • Provide medical diagnoses or treatment advice
  • Offer legal representation or legal advice
  • File claims on your behalf
  • Guarantee specific VA ratings or outcomes
  • Replace official VA resources or VSO guidance
  • Store or review your personal medical records

Accuracy of Information

We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information based on VA regulations. However:

  • VA regulations can change
  • Individual cases may vary
  • AI responses may contain errors
  • Rating criteria is simplified for readability

Always verify information with official VA sources or a VSO before making decisions.

Use of the Tools

Diagnostic Codes Library

Diagnostic codes and rating criteria are compiled from publicly available VA sources. They are provided for informational purposes only.

VA Rating Calculator

The calculator uses the official VA combined ratings formula. However:

  • Results are estimates only
  • Your actual VA rating may differ
  • Special circumstances can affect ratings
  • The VA makes final rating determinations

AI Chat (VA Coach)

The AI chat provides general information only. It:

  • May generate incorrect or outdated information
  • Cannot access your personal VA records
  • Cannot file claims or contact the VA on your behalf
  • Should not replace consultation with a VSO or attorney

AI responses are limited to 100 messages per day per user to prevent abuse.

Mobile App

The Bravo Claims mobile app for iOS:

  • Contains the same tools and features as the website
  • Stores your saved codes and calculator data locally on your device only
  • Follows the same terms and privacy policies as the website
  • Is distributed through the Apple App Store and subject to Apple's terms
  • May be updated periodically with new features or bug fixes

By downloading and using the mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter:

  • You consent to receiving periodic emails about new features and VA policy updates
  • You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us
  • We will never sell or share your email address
  • We will only use your email for Bravo Claims-related communications

Community Discussions

Each diagnostic code page includes a community discussion section where you can share experiences and ask questions. When you participate:

  • You must have a GitHub account and agree to GitHub's Terms of Service
  • You must follow our Code of Conduct
  • Your comments are public and permanently visible (even if you delete your account)
  • You retain ownership of your comments but grant us a license to display them
  • We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove comments that violate our Code of Conduct

Prohibited in discussions:

  • Medical or legal advice
  • Harassment, personal attacks, or offensive content
  • Spam, advertising, or self-promotion
  • Sharing private information (yours or others')
  • Impersonating VA officials, medical professionals, or other users

Violating these rules may result in comment removal, account suspension from discussions, or being blocked from our GitHub repository.

Sponsors and Partners

Bravo Claims may feature veteran-owned businesses, sponsors, or partners. These partnerships:

  • Are clearly labeled on the website and mobile app
  • May be paid sponsorships or unpaid features to support veteran-owned businesses
  • Do not constitute endorsements of products or services
  • Do not grant sponsors access to user data or analytics
  • Are included to support the veteran community

Featured businesses have their own terms of service if you choose to purchase from them. We are not responsible for products, services, or transactions with featured businesses.

Merchandise Shop

Bravo Claims operates a merchandise shop at bravoclaims.bigcartel.com where you can purchase branded apparel and accessories. Revenue from shop purchases helps fund the free tools on this site.

Important details about the shop:

  • The shop is hosted on Big Cartel, a third-party e-commerce platform
  • Merchandise is printed and fulfilled by Printful, a third-party print-on-demand service
  • When you make a purchase, you are subject to Big Cartel's Terms of Service and Printful's Terms of Service
  • Your payment and shipping information is processed by Big Cartel and Printful, not by Bravo Claims
  • Returns, exchanges, and customer service for shop orders are handled according to Big Cartel's and Printful's policies
  • We do not store your payment card information

By purchasing from our shop, you acknowledge that the transaction is between you and Big Cartel/Printful.
